The Cube of Certainty exists to answer questions no one asked it to answer, using a rotation method that has never been peer-reviewed. We are not a magic 8-ball. We are, however, extremely similar to one, structurally.
Every question triggers between three and five full rotations before the Cube settles on a face. This is not necessary. The Cube simply believes that answers arrived at instantly seem less official.
The Certainty Index measures how confident the Cube is in its own verdict, independent of whether the verdict has any bearing on reality. It rarely falls below 95%. It has never once been asked to justify this.
The Cube recognizes exactly four possible outcomes: Yes, No, Maybe, and Ask Again. It selects between them using a process it declines to disclose, though it is willing to confirm the process is "thorough."
The Cube does not accept appeals, offer explanations, or remember previous questions. Each verdict is final until you ask again, at which point the previous verdict is also final, just less relevant.
